Virtual Film Night: World AIDS Day, 'United in Anger'

🔺 World AIDS Day (1 December) is a moment for reflection, solidarity, and action — a day dedicated to raising awareness of HIV and AIDS, supporting those living with HIV, and remembering the lives of those lost to the epidemic.

🎞️ To mark the day, we’ll be screening United in Anger, an inspiring documentary that tells the story of the AIDS activist movement through the voices of those who fought on the frontlines. Drawing on powerful oral histories and rare archival footage, the film traces the work of ACT UP as its members came together to challenge corporate greed, social indifference, and government neglect at the height of the AIDS crisis.

This screening is an opportunity to learn, reflect, and honour a significant chapter in LGBTQ+ history — and to recognise the activism that continues to shape the fight for health equity today.
