UK Black Pride

Proudly King's and the Race Equality Network are attending UK Black Pride, and we're excited to invite you to join us!

UK Black Pride is a safe space to celebrate diverse sexualities, gender identities, cultures, gender expressions and backgrounds, and aims to foster, represent and celebrate LGBTQI+ Black and POC culture through education, the arts, cultural events and advocacy. Importantly, UK Black Pride promotes unity and cooperation among LGBTQI+ people of diasporic communities in the UK, as well as their friends and families.

Proudly King's and the Race Equality Network will go together as a joint KCL group. We'll be meeting near the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford at 12:00pm on Sunday 11th August, ⁠and heading over to UK Black pride together.

The event will see a range of performances, talks, community stalls and workshops. Performers include:
