About the event

Join us for an online Lunch & Learn with award-winning model, activist, and writer Yasmin Benoit, as she explores what it means to challenge misconceptions about asexuality in a world that often assumes sex is central to identity.

Yasmin is a leading voice in asexual and aromantic activism, known for her work increasing visibility and advancing understanding of ace identities — from co-launching the UK’s first asexual rights initiative with Stonewall, to publishing a report on public attitudes toward asexuality with the Policy Institute at King’s, and raising awareness in medical education and policy spaces.

In this conversation, Yasmin will reflect on her journey into activism, discuss her recent research into attitudes toward asexuality, and explore how we can all contribute to more inclusive environments — particularly in education, healthcare, and politics.
