About the event

Following their insightful lecture on "Trauma and Queer Experience from a Feminist Lens," we are excited to welcome back Abbey Brunault for another engaging discussion. Abbey (she/they) is a PhD student in Psychology at King's College London and a lived experience researcher, whose work focuses on trauma care in queer women and gender diverse people.

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week (12 - 18 May), Abbey joins Proudly King's to explore feminist and liberatory therapies, reflecting on the intersection of politics and mental health spaces. We'll dive into what these approaches mean for queer and trans individuals, as well as thinking about how these therapies consider the experiences of trauma survivors.

We invite network members and allies to bring their questions and join us for this conversation!

The session is open to King's staff, PGRs and undergraduate students.
