Join us for an online Lunch 'n' Learn as part of our Proudly Podcast series.


In this episode of the Proudly King's Lunch 'n' Learn, Dr Martin Edwardes (Visiting Lecturer in the School of Education, Communication and Society), and their partner, Philip Rescorla, will take us on an exciting journey to the early days of LGBTQ+ resistance in the UK. As first-hand veterans of the Gay Liberation Front, Phillip and Martin will walk us through the early meetings and protests of the GLF in the 1970s.


About Martin:

Martin started his PhD in 2003, and a few years later began lecturing at King's College London. Martin studies language and language origins, when he's not attending London Pride Parade, giving talks about gay rights or recording podcasts for future leaders of LGBTQ+ resistance.
