Just Like Us - Embroidered Patches Workshop 1

Join us for a fun and creative two-part embroidery workshop led by the talented Rosanna McNamara! In session one, scheduled for May 9th, Rosanna will guide you through the basics of embroidery, teaching you essential stitches and techniques to create beautiful designs. All crafting items will be provided.

After session one, you'll have time to put your newfound skills to work and complete your embroidery projects. Then, on session two (May 16th), you can return with any questions or for additional assistance from Rosanna.

We encourage all attendees to use their King's Service Time to participate. Closer to the workshop dates, we'll provide detailed instructions on how to join and make the most of your experience.

But here's the twist: your creations won't just be for keeps! We kindly ask that you return your embroidered badges to us after completing them. Why? Because we'll be donating them to Just Like Us, an organisation dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ young people. Just Like Us will distribute these badges to their volunteers, who will proudly wear them during their storytelling sessions at school events.
