About the event

Join us for an Access King’s and Proudly King’s crossover event called Lanyards & Lunch on Thursday 16 November at 12:30 – 14:00 in Room S0.12, Strand Building, Strand Campus hosted by Lily Patrick.

This event will be an informal in person social with lunch provided for people to get to know each other across the two networks as well as explore the meanings behind wearing lanyards, badges, and symbols such as the rainbow and sunflower lanyards.

This session will include short presentations from Sean Tillman, co-chair Proudly King’s, and Hannah Sauer, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Project Officer, which will be followed by a Q&A and the opportunity to pick up a lanyard or badge.

Due to the nature of this event, it won’t be available as a hybrid event and the session won’t be recorded but we will look to share some key points that were raised during the session on our MS Teams group following the event.

Visit the AccessAble Access Guide for S0.12 to learn more about the accessibility features of this classroom.
